What does it mean to work in system gastronomy?

In system gastronomy, you ensure that our restaurant standards are consistently upheld in your branch. You oversee and organize all areas of the restaurant, including purchasing, inventory management, kitchen, service, and sales. You schedule staff, control product quality, and implement marketing strategies. You also take care of our guests, take orders, and address complaints.

What do you learn in system gastronomy training?

You learn the basics of service and kitchen operations, as well as topics such as marketing, kitchen organization, shift planning, cost calculation, and business management. You become an expert in managing an entire operation.


In your first year of apprenticeship, you prepare for daily work in the restaurant and learn food and beverage preparation, hygiene, and guest service.


In the second year, you deepen your knowledge, learn more about inventory management, marketing, and supporting sales-promoting measures.


In the third year, you focus on staff management and personnel administration and prepare for the role of shift supervisor. You also learn to analyze and control operational results.

Career opportunities after completing the training:

After your training, you can become a shift supervisor or restaurant manager. You can also apply to work in the company’s headquarters and become part of product development, marketing, or operations management!
